Video Inspection & Electronic Pipe Location
We can see inside your drain and sewer pipes! In-line visual inspection of your pipes is made possible with cctv cameras and our monitoring system to identify the nature of clogs and intrusions that obstruct the free flow of your pipes and help determine the solution to your plumbing problem. Cameras, like the high-performance, durable camera/transmitter system shown at right, allow for exact diagnosis of line problems.
Trenchless Technology
Trenchless technology is revolutionizing the industry and changing the way pipe replacement is done. In the past, the replacement of sewer, water, gas, and other underground pipes involved trenching the entire length of the line. Now with the trenchless replacement, we dig two holes, one at the beginning and one at the end of the line, and insert a cable into the existing line. The cable is attached to our pulling equipment at one end and a steel splitting wedge at the other. The ram then pulls the splitting head through the old pipe, bursting it as it goes. The head brings the new polyethylene pipe behind it until the line is replaced. It is low-impact and completely trenchless.

Herndon McFarland Plumbing will make every effort to repair your electric or gas water heater and keep it performing for your home and family. If it does not make sense to invest money to repair your existing water heater and/or if your water heater is not safe or up to city code, we will recommend a water heater replacement. New water heaters, either gas or electric, are available in 40-gallon or 50-gallon sizes. Ask about safety and efficiency when you are considering a new water heater for your home. Ask us about tankless water heaters.
A tankless water heater is only used when there is a demand for hot water. This type of water heater is becoming very popular with Dallas homeowners. Correct installation and maintenance of your water heater is very important. Do not neglect your water heater. Do not forget to check your water heater on a regular basis for leaks or rust. We recommend you have us check your water heater at least once per year. Water heater stands allow the heater to be raised off the ground level. With gas water heaters, there is a risk of fire if a flammable liquid is spilled in your garage and the fumes spread to the water heater.
